What is  the West Jersey Rose Society?

The WJRS was established in 1953.  We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization affiliated with the American Rose Society. Our charter is to educate the residents of the Delaware Valley about growing roses and to promote the development of public and private gardens throughout New Jersey. We sponsor many civic activities and help to beautify the Beverly Veterans' Cemetery and other public gardens in Camden, Gloucester and Burlington Counties with roses. Click here for our current Bylaws.

Each year, on the first Saturday in June, we present the largest Rose Show in the area.  See  our Calendar for more information

Where are the WJRS Meetings held?

In-person meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month at the Maple Shade Municipal building, 200 Stiles Ave. Maple Shade, NJ 08052 in the Senior’s room, 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Virtual meetings are held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month, starting at 7 pm.
